PROS
* fantastic use of the "WarpZone" [Classes-Info-ZoneInfo-WarpZoneInfo]
(innovative, imaginative, and a total plus for the map)
* extra neat side mini-castles
* slashing, killing pendulums
(what more can you ask !!!)
CONS
* NO BOT paths
* light up the top of the guillotine !
* some textures desperately require resizing
* I have never seen anything so difficult to navigate on a map as
the top floor wooded ladders.
COMMENTS
Top floor wooden ladders: THIS is one of those cases where it
probably sounded like a good idea and works (sort of) but ultimately
adds only difficulty to the map and should have been removed or
modified (of course, I is clumsy). Still, the huge castle/Fortress
effect works. The interior is spiffyed-up, beautifully
NON-symmetrical and all around classy. A few inside elevators would
have been nice to compensate for the restricted access to each
floor. You can jump from the top to the outer wall, however, and
that is always cool in a castle map. The mini-side castles are a
resounding plus although I found the windows placed too high to
effectively shoot out of. The map would benefit greatly if some of
the "single use" textures were rescaled and adjusted; i.e. Right
click on the grass, click on Select All -> Matching Textures, click
on Scale and choose 16. Try the same with the canyon walls (although
they will need rotated and shifted to match each other). Give a look
at Scale 4 for the moat bed and water. Nice, all-in-all, an
excellent castle for "{hLk}Chris & {hLk}playback the (2B) super
mappers".
