It's been quite a while since oldunreal had an overhaul, but we are moving to another server which require some updates and changes. The biggest change is the migration of our old reliable YaBB forum to phpBB. This system expects you to login with your username and old password known from YaBB.
If you experience any problems there is also the usual "password forgotten" function. Don't forget to clear your browser cache!

UT2004 maps ported to 227j+

Post by .:..: »

This project isn't really meant to be anything serious, but rather a proof of concept. I've ported couple UT2004 DM maps for Unreal, which can be downloaded from here:
DM-Grendelkeep - www.klankaos.com/downloads/UDM-Grendelkeep.zip
DM-Tokara - www.klankaos.com/downloads/UDM-Tokara.zip
DM-DesertIsle - www.klankaos.com/downloads/UDM-DesertIsle.zip

Old video of DM-Tokara:

Tools used:
UModel - www.gildor.org/en/projects/umodel
UE2 terrain exporter - viewtopic.php?f=30&p=101376#p101376
GIMP (convert to paletted and downscale textures)
MilkShape3D (to convert UModel's exported static meshes from PSKX to OBJ, you can simply rename PSKX to PSK so MS3D recognizes it as skeletal mesh)

Looks cool. Though except DesertIsle I always consider those as UT2003 levels. Because they came with that first.
