Any warnings in Unreal.log?
Don't forget, Unreal writes incomplete log on Linux.
UnrealLinux.bin.log is pretty useless.

Wake up people. If you ever wanted to have a look again into translations before 227g goes public, do it now. It seems we found and fixed all critical things (at least for the moment) and I'm hoping to get to the remaining list with the smaller things done soon.
The last step will be translations then, but I'm not able to verify any translation myself (for obvious reasons), I'll have to put it in as it is in the wiki then.

Unfortunately, I didn't have time to work on russian translation last months. But translation of menus and system messages is almost done. I haven't checked translation of maps yet. There is a lot of work and bugs to be fixed.

;D You never have time, all bugs fixed without you help. RTNP translation tested, and bugs are fixed well by me and my friends. You variant translations of 227g menus are horrible, something of you translated texts I fixed, something translated from zero and I sent final version to smirf. Now I have no time to update wiki, but I do it someday
So, what you tell about? In past you attempted to use another "translation" without any changed for base of russian language in 227g, actualy it's VERY incorrect translation with many bugs as you said. Now you have good, finalized localization. and you still cry about it, "many bugs" "lot of work" etc

Ok, show me textures of classic menu's fonts that work with utf-16.
Even English texts are not correct in some places and you tell me that russian translation is fine.

You better ask to smirf for all sources of russian language and about standart fonts in new patch, all works fine, fonts ugly (white and green Tahoma) but it's work in menus, etc. tested on 227g37 patch version, codepage called ucs2-little endian, now sources in this codepage
>>>Even English texts are not correct in some places and you tell me that russian translation is fine.
where, lol? In single player maps, but is two or three bugs, I know about it
localized menu files dumped from 227g37 patch and traslated from zero, not all, but most of them(only where is I found lot of changes)
>>>russian translation is fine.
yes, it's fine, except fonts maybe

I was pretty sure I told you (or you've seen it yourself) that 227g contains new UWindowFonts.utx which contain also the russian charset also, to be usable without any hacks or changes.
So the only thing to change are indeed the .rut files now for 227g :)

You are talking about fonts made from ttf. That fonts are ok. They replace classic fonts and they look really ugly (u.highpriest told about it above).
where, lol?
In menus and system messages. I've corrected most of them, but new entries appear in new 227g versions from time to time.

added all .int files for missing Maps translations. Sorry that I didn't notice at first that those were not in the wiki yet, because for the English versions those .int files are not necessary, but maybe the other translations should be compared against them.
Also checked the rest of the .int files yet to make them up to date with 227g. Finalizing everything now.
Hope I didn't miss anything...

Added all events from the RTNP maps now also.

well, 227g is having a lot of new things built in, also a couple of translations are rather poor. So what you need to do is to look for missing entries in the .itt files compared to the .int files and check if the existing translations are right (and good) :)

I suggest to simply copy the int files and translate them directly. That's what I did and it's much more simple than searching for every different line (though it may take some time)

OK, this is standard procedure, but .itt page is complete or some files are missing?

Just checked : 73 files frt files and 73 itt files, so the list is complete. No missing files.

There are more English files (79) but these are unnecessary.

there have been a couple of changes in Engine, UWindow, UMenu and maybe some more since the last update of the .itt files. Did you check those too?

In itt page those files are right, the translation is good enough ;)

yes....but there are missing entries in them, which will cause non translated messages and menus for these parts :)

Updated Engine, UMenu, UBrowser, UPak, UWindow.
Only .rut, .det and .frt are up to date at the moment.

The other languages still need those updates...?

the updated the .int files, to work out the translations on it. But I think the .rut files are up to date already in the wiki too. Just to sad I don't have more people working on .itt and .est :(

There is a minor and bit annoying bug when using Russian translation.
When trying to open server browser, Unreal asks to change username from Player every time I want to play online.
Of course my username is not Player ;)

I can't reproduce it with UBrowser and umenu, seems to be all fine. Maybe you need to upgrade localization files ? finally...
