It's been quite a while since oldunreal had an overhaul, but we are moving to another server which require some updates and changes. The biggest change is the migration of our old reliable YaBB forum to phpBB. This system expects you to login with your username and old password known from YaBB.
If you experience any problems there is also the usual "password forgotten" function. Don't forget to clear your browser cache!

Finally made Russian translation show up correctly. For the most part at least, since WhiteFonts are missing yet iirc. But I made a new UWindowFonts.utx which should contain most language specific chars needed, including Russian and eastern Europe.

Engine and UnrealShare files have been updated, please all native speakers check the changes and update the files in the wiki :)

I've found bug. Boolean properties in adv. options  can't be switched if contains Cyrillic characters.(True and False entries in Core.??t)

In [PackageFlagCommandlet] section
HelpParm[1]=dest.exe
should be dest.ext
I've fixed it in wiki. But should be fixed in game int file too.

edit: and "ucc help command" command displays English text then Language!=int. Why?

One more trouble with localization: Localized Cyrillic messages prints as squares in log.

Double spaces don't show correctly in wiki. It shows as single space. I don't know how to fix it.

ah, I think if you use &nbsp (like in html) it should work. Currently no time to check deeper into wiki. But I'm pretty sure there are some wiki docs out there how to handle such issues, since I'm using a fairly unmodified wiki.

For the localized Cyrillic- no idea at the moment, worth a check into some wiki docs also.

Head to the translation you want. Spanish is quite needed if I remember correctly :)

Necroposts{though this really doesn't qualify this time} on oldunreal with relevant information on the topic are always allowed and encouraged with something like this.

It's very rare that someone necroposts anything without a good reason.

...should be added? but where?

Looks like UPakScubaGear isn't localized.. we'll have to fix that. And I have no idea about that second message, I don't remember it at all.

Second message first seen on the level "Napali Edge" - Dusk Falls, when pickup "stinger" for slot 3, but assault rifle already on this slot, for toggle weapon press... blabla

Well, If you need polish translate (from some reasons i know that many polish gamers are playing in Unreal) i can try. But i don't think that's it's important. But from the other side it's annoying to translating my friends what's the aim of this game or what 227patch gives new for Unreal.Just write and i can start. :)

? what you mean under "planned"?)) Register in wiki, login and create a "Poland" branch here,you can use original Unreal 227 int files, all  "in level messages" can be dumped with "dumpint map" command in UnrealEd. too lazy to translate unreal on you native language ?)

It's flat out not localized, at this time you cannot customize the message, it's hardcoded.

i can make translation for polish languages like translator events etc. but after i finish my mappack.

Hey Smirtfsch when you are planning release the newest 227 patch??? because my maps will use much things from 227 patch and i need final release. :)

Hello,

i new here and have unreal running on gentoo linux. i am loking now for a german game content. I downloaded the int.7z file here but i have only the menus now in german not the content. i have heard this german content was in the unreal antology version but i have the gold version.

i am meaning the german translated textes for the messages ingame and so.

Can anyone help me?

Basically Anthology is nothing but Gold while they messed up multiplayer additionally....
But I'm surprised that it doesn't work with the .det files out of the package. Any warnings in Unreal.log?
