Because I noticed during transition that the new page/forum often wasn't loaded correctly otherwise (Ctrl+F5 for the corresponding page works usually also)- it's just to avoid issues.

The old forum did have these things as well? Perhaps not that obvious though...
Anyway, you are right about the signatures, they have been working at first but at the moment they seem to be gone. Will have to check that.

@signature: for me it appeared that automatically add signature was disabled in UCP. There is an option to add it automatically, otherwise you have to check "Attach a signature (signatures can be altered via the UCP)" below the editor field.
(Although it makes the forum way better readable without all these signatures I have to say).

Wow! Congratulations on the successful migration! I hope the email notification feature is working here, I couldn't figure out if it even worked on the old forums, let alone how to use it. PhpBB though is something I am quite familiar with.

Would it be possible to (have an option to) uncheck "Notify me when a reply is posted" by default when posting a reply? I will no doubt forget to uncheck this on multiple occasions.

Gooodluck to the new forum, Unreal is my greatest gaming love and oldunreal has kep it alive for so long. I wish they would remaster Unreal with Unreal 4 engine, the game would be a massive hit if remastered/rebooted like Doom and Call of Duty Black Op. So many new gamers are missing out of this old classic, and they are brainwashed to think HD graphics = good game, its the quality that matters and remastered Unreal can prove them in their face. Anyway will be busy again the coming days, all the best!

Thanks, its been some work and some old topics are still messed up due to html entities which couldn't be properly migrated, but I'll fix anything I can find or being reported.

Not sure about UE4 though, often its that games lose their specific feeling if being ported to newer engines, although can't deny that the idea has it's charm.

I jusst wish new players who are prejudice to old games would enjoy this classic, they are brainwashed to think that enhanced graphics = good games. Personally I always prefer 3D over modern HD which makes it too realistic, we are playing games not watching movies, 3D drawing was an art of its own. I will always prefer the original Unreal, but a remastered Unreal with the same gameplay but modern graphics can bring so many new playes as the gaming population has now increased yet so many are unaware of this old wonderful classic and are unlikely to try it out due to the prejuice.
