OldUnreal (Engine)

New update is finally out (attached).

Some changes from the previous version:

* Unreal Mac files added
* Unreal Tournament Dream Tear Down added
* Dreamcast/PS2 Unreal Tournament rips, including the Dreamcast-exclusive different version of "Go Down"
* More prototype sound effects added
* Tons and tons of new fan remixes added
* Dolby headphone-optimized versions of some tracks

The only thing this collection lacks:

* Unreal PSX prototype recorded voice acting lines
* Necto Ulin Unreal Tournament remix album (still in development)

I can't do torrents, but I looked at the file list and no this isn't complete now.

I suppose you don't know about it but together with a couple of old prototypes like unrealed 0.864n (that a lot of people ignore despite having couple of differences and different unreal.unr) there were also some music files found, notably 1996 versions of Title and Wargate. Wargate was broken so it had to be fixed:

This was fixed by kynikossdragon.

There were also few other different music tracks recovered (not by me) by a certain other guy but the original source disappeared where he had it from.

I don't have a link for those yet now, i'm trying to find them.

unrealcrash

this is a directory by someone called crash headroom, he extracted the music files mostly back in 2014. But the source for stuff like "unreal3.s3m" is lost now, despite it being a slightly different version than cyrene. Its possible it came from a beta version.

Thanks. I was looking for n, but couldn't find it. CHILD3 is really interesting; I guess there is no surviving speculation on which map it was used on?

Edit: Judging from the sample list, it looks like Andrew Sega composed it? There's a "Necros" byline.

It is still not confirmed whether child3 actually appeared somewhere even though warmoddities guy on youtube claimed so. I believe it just used necros' sample but the track was by alexander brandon i believe. Not sure anymore though. child2 etc was by brandon so I think this too. Not sure who gave him unreal3.s3m though, its a different version of cyrene, i dont even know what the difference is specificaly but it differs by size.

That said, Let's Share, Levo Lution made this album representing UT by the name PHOBOS, things that get lost simply that they happen before the rise of the internet... We can talk about that all day.

For more references sake, Levo Lution loves the Unreal genre so much that refers to this style as "UnrealTrance" and "UnrealBreaks"... If that doesn't make this masterpiece timeless enough

I've not looked beyond these albums, but this makes me happy to have, There must be more beyond these, thinking every album has got at least one hint of UT

Torrent was removed because x1337 is ultra-strict about "non-standard" files. I may try reuploading under "Other", or, well...this may just have to be shared through direct download in the future. I'll see if the "Other" category accepts it tonight.

Still wondering about DreamTearDown. Just for fun, I checked out the ChaosUT disc 2 of the GOTY edition, and still couldn't find it anywhere (I even unpacked the .u files). I'm starting to really wonder how it became known as a UT track.

Also, wow, is BeyondUnreal gone for good? That is a huge loss...

I don't know dream tear down. There is also that extended mechanism 8 mix, not sure where the tracker file was anymore.
