It's been quite a while since oldunreal had an overhaul, but we are moving to another server which require some updates and changes. The biggest change is the migration of our old reliable YaBB forum to phpBB. This system expects you to login with your username and old password known from YaBB.
If you experience any problems there is also the usual "password forgotten" function. Don't forget to clear your browser cache!

I'd still want the more recent DZItems, perhaps we'll find some way to tear it apart and make it usable again.

The main difference between the original cache rip of DZ items and the newer version is that Zombie made the newer version dependent on his server side mutator.
Apparently the mutator is needed for the scripts to work and for summons to appear though I haven't tried it myself.
Yeah I do wonder if someone can code a new mutator to make it work with DZ Items again it would be nice to see that happen.

If Zombie ever were to allow his source to be released I'd love to work on it. Sadly he took great pains to break functionality if you tried to access his assets. I can appreciate his stance but at this point there's just no reason.

Yeah there's no point in emailing him as you won't get a reply and it's the only way of contacting him.
I can understand his stance as well because he never wanted DZ Items made public since it was cache ripped against his personal wishes.
There's no way I can see to get your hands on the source so I think we're just at a loss now unfortunately......

I had made my own personal version of the mod on my private server maybe around 2014. It's a bit experimental, but I had added some extra stuff like some effects for mobs that are pregnant. As you dealt damage they'd get fatter and they'll eventually explode their mobs instead of just turn into a gib, inspired off of the flood in Halo CE. I don't think I ever made it work server side though, if I did it was the last thing I did to the mod.

I did make a recreation of the EverlastingItems. I don't know if there's any differences between this version and Zombies, but this should make a good substitute for those.
