animated textures?
How does one go about making an animated texture... I'm not talking about the effect like liquid over the texture but the .gif type of texture. was wanting to incorporate some short video into a map i am working on. Thanks.

my tuts kinda all over the place tho , keep in mind you cant get full video fps and there's a limit to the frames in a single sequence linked together , you may need to break into sequences of say 50 images - then link them end to end.
also , the size adds up quick. a simple 8 second clip could be like 30 mb.
also gifs with super compression = no good due to non redrawn areas;
if possible skip the gif bit and use full quality frames directly from avi export.

yes.. ahem... forget i asked... for that short a time and using that much space... that would only be justified if it never reached a server or was, over the top cool.. 8-)
