It's been quite a while since oldunreal had an overhaul, but we are moving to another server which require some updates and changes. The biggest change is the migration of our old reliable YaBB forum to phpBB. This system expects you to login with your username and old password known from YaBB.
If you experience any problems there is also the usual "password forgotten" function. Don't forget to clear your browser cache!

Its maybe more handy, but the cool part from this forum is, it really looks like the good ol game itself

As long as the existing messages can be converted it's okay for me. But I would be unhappy when everything is lost.

I'm not all that bothered to be honest, but I would prefer it if a backup of all the forums threads/posts was made and accessible to the public.
As long as the existing messages can be converted it's okay for me. But I would be unhappy when everything is lost.

I see there is a converter to convert a YaBB database to phpBB. It looks like it's only for advanced users however.

But whatever will be done to the forum, make sure there is a backup first to have the possibility to return to the previous forum.

Its completelly off topic all, but if the data would get lost, i would concider that as a disaster for Unreal to be honest.
So indeed, whatever is done to the forum, a full backup needs to be kept.
