Texture properties
Hey I need help. Have anybody a COMPLETE description of properties of textures.
There is property BumpMapping which seems to add a bumpmap to a texture which makes the texture look like 3D, but when I assign some texture to this it does not work.
I remeber somebody shows me how this works a Year before, but alas I do not have any notes about this and even I could not remember who it was.
could You help me?
PS I searched epic docs but this is undocumented there.

Re: Texture properties
There are indeed options for that, and i read several times info on the subject on the net, ill have to look for it again.
I myself also have no clue how to do that, same for making wet and wave textures, animations i can do fine
I do recall there is a benefit for having it done by the Unreal engine itsself, forgot what though.... In general i add all my bumpmaps in Photoshop, so its already part of the final texture.
Ill look for a link, but no promise...

DieHardsDog is my doggie
But make no mistake, Unreal Wiki contains tons of info on editing, and ALL Unreal editors virtually do work the same.
You can even look for other Unreal Engine based games like Deus Ex, they have tons of ''Unreal Tutorials" Check this out and you will notice the same editor is used for that game:
http://www.planetdeusex.com/constructor/tutorials.htm
or
http://www.planetdeusex.com/tack/
My point being, do not stick to just the UT editor, look up other editors and info on it !!!
But also maybe repost this on the Usermaps section because the people overthere handle the real editing problems, including this problem.

Re: Texture properties
Me confused. In Unreal wiki found in texture properties (UT99) Tetxure Properties/Textures/Bumpmap "the map to illuminat e texture with" but from various sources via mail recieved "no BumpMapping in UT99 at all"
So this means the option in properties is dead/good for nothing?

Re: Texture properties
Those are interesting, is there a complete list of those Epic helpfile links (including admin pages).
I would like to go mirror them all before they go into oblivian, knowing Epic :-/
