Great question which I could only hazard as guess to, but below is a useful link that some people may not have about the 1995 Level Tech version that you mention (although the 1995 Tech Monster Demo had no music at all.....)

The track UNREALS.s3m used in the maps Cliff and James is pretty damn awesome.

Best guess about the music from the version you mention would be Andrew Sega maybe? That's a long shot though.

I've wondered the same thing. And yes, UNREALS is a great song indeed. :)

I would bet on Bryan Rudge with association of Alex Brandon or even Necros (Andrew Sega). Climate matches to it. Necros and Siren, got similar styles of created music. Even Alex wroted this in his last tracker song released to public: I don't remember the tittle, I've got this song on my private computer.

The beta has a track composed by Dan Gardopée aka Basehead but went unused, making Erosion (Unreal4) the only track he made that actually went into the final product.

Everything else sounds like Siren and MCA's work.
